SUPERVISOR OF BUSINESS COMPLIANCE INVESTIGATIONS
DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS AFFAIRS AND CONSUMER PROTECTION
Number of Positions: 1 (Additional vacancies possible pending budget approval)
Under general supervision, oversees investigators engaged in a full range of investigative duties to ensure compliance with the City's ordinances governing businesses, consumer protection, and public vehicles.

Salary: $74,244 /year (Non-negotiable)
THIS POSITION IS IN THE CAREER SERVICE
Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's degree, or 60 hours, of college credit in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or a directly related field, plus three years of investigative work experience; OR five years of investigative work experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Licensure, Certification, or Other Qualifications
Selection Criteria
This position requires applicants to complete an interview. The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position will be selected.
Preference will be given to candidates possessing the following:
Residency Requirement: All employees of the City of Chicago must be actual residents of the City as outlined in 2-152-050 of the City of Chicago Municipal Code. Proof of residency will be required.
